Kitty Aal studied film at UW-Madison where she programmed the Starlight Cinema underground series and the Blow Up Cinema series at the Elvehjem Museum. In conjunction with Cinema Revolution, Kitty co-curated Cinema des Artistes at the Varsity Theater and served on the Mizna Arab Film Festival's Selection and Planning Committee. Most recently, she helped translate passages from French into English for the Collectif Jeune Cinema experimental film catalog in Paris.

John Koch holds a BFA in Photography, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, 1999, with a post-bac semester at Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy in 2000. Koch is the founder of Cinema Revolution, which began as an independent DVD rental store, and is now a local nonprofit filmmaking society. Koch has made seven short films and two feature films along with work as a video designer for dance performance. He has collaborated with dance and theater artists Live Action Set, Vanessa Voskuil, Susana di Palma and Sachiko Nishiuchi and is a 2009 SAGE award for dance winner for his video design. His new feature film "The Seducer" premiered at the Minneapolis Underground Film Festival in December 2009, and won the "Best Feature" award at the festival.

Vanessa Voskuil is a choreographer, director, performer, teaching artist and creator of interdisciplinary performances, dances, films, and music-theater. She has created more than twenty original works presented by theaters and universities throughout the Twin-Cities area. Voskuil is a recipient of a 2009 McKnight Fellowship for Choreography and has received two Sage Awards for Outstanding Design (2006, 2009). Vanessa, from 2003-09, served as co-founding artistic director of physical theater performance group Live Action Set.
